It looks like the reports of the death of my vacation have been greatly exaggerated. It turns out that my mother in law's surgery won't happen till after we get back from our vacation, which is good news. The bad news is that she still needs to have surgery and I am sure it will occupy my wife's mind for the duration of the trip. I'll do my best to keep her distracted so we can have a good time. We'll deal with her mother's illness when we get back. I will be praying for her and I am confident that God will help her through this. His will be done.
