I just gave my 2 week notice today. I feel really crappy about it. I just started this job 3 weeks ago and now I'm leaving. The new job is just too good to pass up on. The place I am at now is really great. The people are all really nice and my manager is a really good person too. What makes it worse is that before they brought me in, they had went through a few others that didn't work out. They have been so pleased with me so that they hope to find someone like me as my replacement.

In the end, I gotta look out for #1. With the economy as bad as it is, I have to make choices that most benefit me and my family. No matter how great the people are here, if the tables were turned and the company was struggling, I don't think they would consider how nice I have been to them before letting me go. I probably shouldn't feel that bad.
